Following the success of our first Clevedon Literary Festival in June this year, we’re back after a summer break!
With the aim to encourage those from every walk of life into the literary world, we hope to launch a programme of events, inviting you to fascinating opportunities to explore and discover new ideas through as many cultural mediums as possible.
Clevedon could be a destination for the literary & art community and we hope the Clevedon Literary Festival committee can contribute to a community that stands apart from the major literary festivals. So to kick start our return, we have teamed up with the Curzon Cinema Clevedon to bring you a thought provoking performance and Q&A from this year’s National Poetry Prize winner Marvin Thompson with special guest and host, Saili Katebe from Bristol’s Raise the Bar.
Doors open at 6.30pm, come and join us early doors for a drink in the bar, browse stalls from the Clevedon Community Bookshop and Books On The Hill, where you can get a signed copy of Marvin Thompson’s book.
Thu 21 Oct 7.30pm (doors 6.30pm) *Restricted seating at the Curzon.
